| General Comments |
We love this home! It has great light (south facing), a ton of charm with hardwood floors, open floor plan, huge 100+ year-old shade trees, giant organic gardening space, double lot.
Over the last eight years, we have done extensive renovations and updates including new roof, new electrical service, complete bathroom remodel, office remodel, new lighting throughout (and ceiling fans in master and living room) and total basement finishing. In the basement: guest room and full bathroom, media room with can lights and surround sound and a professional art studio with surround sound, gallery lighting, ventilation and electric heaters. The studio could easily convert to a bedroom with an egress window.
Centrally located, 15 minute bike to downtown, 2 blocks to elementary school, 3 blocks to Franklin Park, 7 blocks to Good Food Store.
On bus system (bus stop right across street), 3 blocks to bike path.
Extensive property improvements: two large organic garden spaces and tons of low-water perennial beds. The front yard has a drip system and timer installed.
The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. |
